If you are navigating through a difficult time in your life and/or if you are moving through a time of transformation and change, let the energies of 365 Days of Gratituderemind you of who you are and what’s truly important, regardless of your age and the stage that you are at in your life. 365 Days of Gratitude provides people of all ages with hope, healing, positivity, and a sense of knowing and feeling the foundation of what joy and happiness are based off of: gratitude.

Muskan came into this world as a miracle after her parents’ 16 years of marriage. At the young age of six, Muskan learned about the injustice that Malala Yousafzai had gone through, and was devastated. She was propelled to take action and wanted to make a difference. She started by raising funds to donate to the Malala Fund and other local charities. However, despite the difference she was already making, Muskan didn’t want to stop there. She asked her mother incessantly about why there was so much gender inequality in such modern times.

In order to shift her thoughts on this subject to a more positive state, her mother gave her a journal and encouraged her to write one thing every day that she was grateful for. She wanted Muskan to focus on all the positive things in her life. As time passed, her mother forgot about the journal, until Muskan came to her later with a journal filled with all of the things she was grateful for and how she had transformed her negative thoughts about gender inequality into positive thoughts on how she can use her influence to make an impact. They both were inspired to share this with the world, so chose 365 to create this beautiful book.

It wasn’t enough for Muskan to simply learn about these issues, she wanted to make a difference, and declared that “This world needs to be changed, and I’m the one that could change it!” Muskan proceeded to fundraise $1200 through her school, who donated it to the Malala Fund.

Along with the inspiring stories of gratitude from best-selling authors Serena Dyer (the daughter of New York Times best-selling author and beloved spiritual teacher Dr. Wayne Dyer) and Jason Garner (the former CEO of Live Nation), along with Rick Hansen (Canadian Paralympian, activist, and philanthropist), this book is filled with simple gratitudes of everyday life, which inspire and uplift, and remind all of the beauty that surrounds us.

Muskan believes that if you have everything in life, then take the time to look and see how you can support others and be a part of positive change in the world. Muskan is inspired by the knowing that her words will make a difference in people’s lives and would like to make a difference globally with her organization called Helping Hands, whose mission is to help homelessness in every country. Partial proceeds of this very book will be donated to Helping Hands as a continued effort in ensuring you are also a part of making a difference.

365 Days of Gratitude is also available via paperback and Kindle on Amazon.com.

Let The Words Of 9-Year-Old Muskan Virk Inspire You: 365 Days Of Gratitude Available Now

Let The Words Of 9-Year-Old Muskan Virk Inspire You: 365 Days Of Gratitude Available Now

Buffalo, NY, September 5, 2016   What are you grateful for?

When life gets a bit heavy and dark, it can be difficult to see and remember the things we could be grateful for. Sometimes, we need something, or someone to remind us.

Empowered by John is blessed to introduce 9-year-old Muskan Virk and her brand-new book 365 Days of Gratitude to the world.

At the age of 6, Muskan Virk heard the term “gender equality” and asked her parents to explain what that meant. When she learned of the injustice and inequality that so many face every day, she was quite upset about it, and began to see the darkness in the world.

It wasn’t enough for Muskan to simply learn about these issues, she wanted to make a difference, and declared that “This world needs to be changed and I’m the one that could change it!” Muskan proceeded to fundraise $1200 through her school, who donated it to the Malala Fund.

Meera, Muskan’s mother, could see that the knowledge her daughter was gaining was quite heavy on her young soul, and so gave her a journal, and encouraged Muskan to write down all the things she was grateful for, and to see how many good things she could find. A little over a year later, Muskan handed the journal back, and Meera was delighted to find 450 gratitudes. They both were inspired to share them with the world, and so chose 365 to create this beautiful book.

Along with the inspiring stories of gratitude from Serena Dyer, Maya Kanigan, Rick Hansen, Taylor Conroy, and Jason Garner, this book is filled with simple gratitudes of everyday life, which will inspire and uplift you, and remind you of the beauty and pleasures that surround you.

Part of the proceeds from this book will be used to help build Muskan’s foundation, Helping Hands, which will be helping homeless people and others in need.

Muskan lives with her parents and her dog Butterball in Vancouver, BC.

365 Days of Gratitude is now available for purchase on Amazon.com, in paperback or for your Kindle.
